Job 1 – Admin Clerk (Administration Services) – 3 Posts

Location
Western TVET College – multiple campuses across the Western district (exact campus will be confirmed during the interview).
Salary
R228 321 per annum (Level 05) plus standard benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with student registration in accordance with SOPs.
- Capture and verify student data in the BMS system.
- Print, sort, and distribute control lists and class registers.
- Verify data before submission to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
- Handle online applications, enquiries and operate the campus switchboard.
- Record student marks and absences, keeping records accurate.
- Process requisitions, verify deliveries and file procurement documents.
- Support bursary applications and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 / Level 4 certificate.
- At least 3‑year National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration, Management Assistant, Office Management & Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of administration experience.
- Typing/secretarial skills.
- Computer literacy – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet.
- Driver’s licence (advantage).

Job 2 – Administrative Clerk: Finance (1‑Year Contract)

Salary
R228 321 per annum (Level 05) plus 37 % in lieu of benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Process financial accounting transactions.
- Verify invoices and capture payments.
- Support salary administration and payroll runs.
- Clear suspense accounts and assist with bookkeeping.
- Process journals and electronic bank transfers.
- Manage debtors, creditors and the budget plan.
- Administer petrol cards, vehicle bookings and bursary allocations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain asset registers.
- Order stationery, textbooks and manage stock levels.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- 3‑year National Diploma or Degree in Finance, Financial Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting or Internal Auditing.
- 1–2 years of relevant finance experience.
- Computer literacy.
Competencies & Skills
- Knowledge of PFMA, PSA, PSR, PPPFA.
- Financial data capturing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of COLTECH and SAGE Evolution.
- Strong numeracy, accuracy and administrative skills.
