Position Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate (Essential)
  • Knowledge of:
    • Unemployment Insurance Act & Regulations
    • Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
    • Data protection laws (POPIA)
    • Government service principles (Batho Pele)
  • Key Skills:
    • Excellent communication (written & verbal)
    • Customer service expertise
    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Process unemployment benefit applications
  • Verify claimant documentation
  • Manage payment continuation requests
  • Provide client education on UIF processes
  • Maintain accurate case records
