Job Summary
The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff and equipment to various destinations and ensuring all vehicles remain roadworthy and clean.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- At least 3 years of relevant driving experience
- Valid code EB driver’s license and ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 test
- Possession of a Public Driver’s Permit
Primary Duties
- Handle and safeguard petty cash
- Respond promptly to customer requests
- Transport staff and equipment as required
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
- Plan transport tasks to ensure availability of resources
- Complete transport schedules within the Mechanical section
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report faults

- Understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Knowledge of road traffic rules
