About the Learnership
Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital invites applications for a six‑month Learnership in Pharmacy. This program is designed for individuals who are new to the pharmacy field or are currently employed elsewhere, but who wish to pursue a career in pharmacy. The learnership combines classroom education with hands‑on work experience, giving participants the scientific knowledge and practical skills needed to support pharmacy operations. By the end of the programme, learners will be qualified as generalists and able to work in any pharmacy category once they pass the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) examinations.
Although the core training period is six months, learners have up to twelve months to complete the programme in accordance with SAPC regulations.

- Certified copy of a valid Grade 12/Matric certificate with the following subjects:
- Mathematics (level 4 or equivalent, pass rate ≥30%)
- Physical Sciences (with a pass rate ≥30%)
- One Natural Science (Life or Physical Science) at level 4 or equivalent, pass rate ≥30%
