Main Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative and support functions to ensure the labour centre operates effectively. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supply Chain Management Services: Assist in procuring goods and services, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. This involves processing requisitions, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records to support the centre’s daily needs.
  • Finance and Office Management: Handle basic financial tasks such as budgeting support, expense tracking, and petty cash management. Additionally, oversee office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general administrative coordination to keep the workspace efficient and organized.
  • Human Resource Management Support: Provide assistance with HR-related activities, including employee onboarding, leave management, and maintaining personnel files. You will help ensure all staff records are up-to-date and confidential.
  • Training and Performance Management: Coordinate training sessions for staff, schedule performance appraisals, and track development programs. This role involves liaising with training providers and monitoring progress to enhance team capabilities.
  • Records Management: Manage all documentation in the labour centre, including filing systems, archiving, and retrieval processes. Ensure proper record-keeping in line with legal and departmental standards to support audits and information requests.
