About the Role
Mercedes‑Benz Bedfordview, part of the Motus Corporation, is looking for dedicated and eager Apprentices to join our service department. This position is perfect for individuals who want to start a career in the automotive industry, working closely with experienced technicians and learning how to use advanced diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out technical and diagnostic work within the service department.
- Assist and learn from qualified technicians to complete repairs on vehicles.
- Use modern diagnostic tools to identify and fix vehicle faults.
- Perform servicing of electrical equipment when required.
- Ensure all repairs meet DCSA procedures and documentation standards.
- Keep clear communication with Service Advisors about repair status.
- Maintain high standards of vehicle care, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Attend required Mercedes‑Benz SA and Cargo Motors training programmes.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Complete all job cards and repair documentation accurately and promptly.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- National Certificate Grade 2 in Engineering Science.
- Motor Trade Theory qualification.
- Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous learning.
