About the Programme
LEARNSETA invites passionate individuals to join our nationally recognised Early Childhood Development Learnership Programme. This work-based training initiative leads to an NQF-registered qualification, equipping successful candidates with essential skills to shape young minds.
Key Requirements
- Nationality: South African citizen with valid ID document
- Age: 18-35 years old
- Education: Matric (National Senior Certificate) or NCV certificate
- Skills: Basic computer literacy required
- Commitment: Available for full learnership period
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate learning programmes
- Monitor child development progress and maintain records
- Ensure safe, healthy environments for children’s growth
- Conduct developmental assessments
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues and community stakeholders
- Provide nurturing care and emotional support to children
Contract Details
- Fixed-term learnership contract
- Combined workplace training and theoretical learning
- SAQA-approved qualification upon successful completion
