What You Will Do
Main Purpose: Deliver a high customer satisfaction experience while maintaining aftermarket profitability. Support all functions within the parts warehouse and ensure dealership operations follow the GVS process in the “Planning”, “On Arrival”, and “Dealer to Customer and Follow Up” phases.
Reporting To: Warehouse Controller.
Job Objectives
Receiving / Inbound
- Follow Volvo procedures for goods receipt.
- Ensure items are received accurately and on time to meet KPI standards.
- Record any discrepancies in the GDS system with clear details.
- Store parts in the correct bins as per system allocations.
Outbound
- Process customer orders, pick, pack and deliver parts according to Volvo procedures.
- Update the system after authorization.
- Dispatch the correct parts and quantities as per the invoice.
- Provide fast and reliable service to workshop technicians.
Credit Notes
- Check and sign off credit notes for processing.
- File and store credit notes in sequence.
- Follow procedures for credit processing (e.g., no electrical parts returned).
Perpetual Stock Counts & Bin Verification
- Conduct daily stock counts as per set quantities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Authorize all adjustments before updating the system.
Housekeeping
- Keep warehouse premises neat and tidy.
- Ensure parts are stored and binned correctly.
- Collect and dispose of waste promptly.
- Maintain perimeter security.
Exchange Parts
- Receive returned parts at agreed exchange standards.
- Store and handle core return items correctly.
- Prepare core parts for return to PDC.
Health and Safety
- Follow all Volvo health and safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Matric / Grade 12, or equivalent.
- Diploma in Warehouse Management or a minimum of three years of warehousing experience.

- Strong resource, time, and stock management abilities.
- Works well in a team and plans effectively.
Other Details
