About the Directorate
The Directorate of Finance: Revenue Services seeks part‑time Financial Assistants for a one‑month internship period across all campus locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately and promptly.
- Validate bank notes, credit & debit cards and postal orders.
- Prepare balancing schedules and bank all receipts daily.
- Secure all cash and equivalents during the day.
- Address payment queries and customer concerns.
- Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Manager or Head of Department.
Minimum Requirements
- National Senior Certificate in Accounting, Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy.
- At least one year of experience in a financial environment.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication abilities.
- Computer literacy.
- Basic knowledge of financial systems.
