About the Job

The Assistant Storeman will help manage our storeroom, ensuring that stock is received, stored, and issued correctly. The role requires a clean, organized workspace and support during stock counts.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
• Keep the storeroom clean and well arranged.
• Help count stock and reconcile inventory records.
• Report any shortages or discrepancies quickly.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of inventory control and food hygiene standards.
• Ability to use manual handling equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or storeroom setting.
