Job Description

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in economic research and policy analysis. You will work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment focused on creating meaningful impact through research.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an intern at TIPS, you will:

• Perform economic research under guidance from your line manager
• Provide research input and conduct data analysis
• Participate in and present research at internal discussions and workshops/events
• Publish research reports through the TIPS website and other publications
• Attend conferences and seminars to share research findings

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you will need:

• A Masters degree (completed or in final stages) in Economics OR
• A Masters degree (completed or in final stages) in Development Studies, Environmental Sciences, or related field with completed Economics III at undergraduate level
• Genuine passion for industrial policy, inclusive economic development and sustainable growth
• Study background in trade, industrial policy, manufacturing sector and sustainable growth
• Strong communication skills in writing, editing and presentation
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong computer skills with proven ability to manipulate data in Excel
• Knowledge of Stata or SPSS statistical software
• Ability to work effectively in teams and handle tight deadlines
