Your main goal is to sell and promote Albany products, reach sales targets, and increase market penetration in Pretoria and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Development – Grow existing accounts and find new opportunities.
- Route Management – Plan and ride sales routes at least twice a year, complete call cycles, update profile cards daily, and review route performance with drivers.
- Promotions & Merchandising – Plan and execute promotion activations, ensure displays are clean and stocked, and manage the TBFS (Trade By Field Service) relationship to secure shelf space.
- Returns & Discounts – Process returns and donations, manage discounts, and conduct discount reviews.
- Pricing & Surveys – Conduct pricing surveys and monitor pricing strategies.
- Customer Relations – Open new accounts, collect outstanding payments, handle special deliveries and queries, and build strong relationships with trade contacts and crew members.
- Quality & Complaints – Understand product quality requirements, report consumer complaints, manage market incidents, and handle withdrawal/recall processes.
- Trade Marketing – Develop customer plans, apply channel strategies, manage the customer management process, and support pricing strategies.
- Support Functions – Act as a relief representative when needed and contribute to overall team objectives.
What You Will Bring
- Grade 12 qualification (essential).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Minimum 3 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in bakery products.
