Job Purpose

To operate palletizer machinery efficiently and safely, ensuring the smooth flow of packaged goods onto pallets for distribution. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate palletizer equipment strictly according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles to maintain food safety standards.
• Assist in identifying necessary corrective actions when process deviations occur.
• Monitor and report on production wastage.
• Conduct regular quality checks as per the provided checklist.
• Accurately record equipment downtime and report any issues.
• Ensure the palletizer equipment and immediate work area are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Rectify minor operational issues and report all significant deviations to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
• Strictly follow all safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Maintain high personal and factory hygiene standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Functionally literate and numerate.
• Ability to understand Process Specifications, Recipes, and interpret basic data.
• Capable of reading and comprehending Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and work towards goals and objectives set by management.
• Must be willing and able to work shifts, including overtime and weekends.
• A proactive team player with a collaborative spirit.
• Self-motivated and disciplined.
• Willingness to be trained and developed into a multi-skilled operator.
