Tiger Brands is offering an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join our team as a Workplace Experience Student specializing in Risk. This role is designed to provide comprehensive support to our Risk and Safety department through a combination of administrative duties and practical, hands-on training. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to key areas of workplace health, environmental management, and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Risk and Safety team with daily administrative tasks.
• Participate in hands-on training related to health, safety, and environmental management.
• Gain exposure to ISO management systems and their implementation.
• Support the team in implementing and maintaining safety standards across the workplace.
• Assist in conducting audits to ensure contractor compliance with company safety policies.
• Contribute to risk assessment activities and help in developing mitigation strategies.
• Engage in environmental management practices and learn about sustainability initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• A recent graduate or final-year student in Risk Management, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in developing a career in risk, health, safety, or environmental management.
• Good administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Basic understanding of ISO systems and safety standards is advantageous but not essential.
