About the Programme
The Tiger Brands Future Leaders Development Programme (FLDP) is a 24‑month learning journey designed for recent graduates who show potential for future leadership. Participants are placed across various disciplines—Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and more—and receive structured training to prepare them for key roles in the organization.
Who We’re Looking For
We want graduates who:
- Want a career in a leading FMCG company
- Hold a bachelor’s or equivalent degree from a recognized institution
- Recently completed their 3rd or 4th year of study
- Have not worked full‑time for more than one year in their field of study (excluding internships)
- Show high ambition, self‑motivation, and a record of achievement and innovation
- Are computer literate (MS Word & Excel) and possess a valid driver’s licence
- Are willing to relocate during the programme
Preferred Qualifications
Strong candidates in specific tracks include:
- Research & Development: National Diploma, BSc, BTech in Food Science, Food Technology, Biochemistry or Chemistry
- Finance (CA(SA) Stream): Completed SAICA‑accredited Postgraduate Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA)
- Engineering: BSc/BEng in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Electrical
- Business Intelligence/Data Analysis: BSc Computer Science or BSc Statistics
- People (HR): BCom Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
- Bakeries & Manufacturing: BSc Food Technology/Science
- Customer & Marketing: BCom Sales & Marketing, Bachelor of Administration or BCom Marketing
- Marketing: Bachelor’s with a major in Marketing
- Agriculture: Degree or Diploma in Agriculture (Plant/Crop Production)
- Instrumentation: BEng Instrumentation, Automation & Control Systems, Mechatronics
- Procurement: Degree in Procurement or CIPS certification
Minimum Requirements
- Academic average of 65 % or higher
- Citizen of the hiring country
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
- Recent graduate from a South African tertiary institution
- Valid work authorization
- Geographical mobility and willingness to relocate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
