Programme Overview

The Elevate Graduate Internship Programme is a two-year initiative designed to provide highly motivated graduates with practical work experience, professional mentorship, and exposure to a fast-paced corporate setting. Interns will have the opportunity to rotate across relevant business areas (where applicable), participate in dedicated skills development sessions, and contribute to strategic and operational projects that align with their academic background.

We are seeking passionate, innovative, and agile graduates from a wide range of disciplines to join our team and help shape the future of telecommunications and digital services.

  • Digital Transformation & Technology: Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science & Business Intelligence, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
  • Gaming & Creative Media: Game Design & Production, Game Development, Animation & Multimedia Design, UX/UI & Graphic Design.
  • Sales, Marketing & Customer Insights: Sales & Business Development, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, Marketing Research & Analytics, Customer Experience Management, Brand Management & Communications.
  • Finance & Business: Financial Management, Management Accounting, Actuarial Science, Auditing & Taxation, Investment Management, Economics, Supply Chain & Logistics, Human Resources Management, Business Administration.
  • Engineering & Technical Fields: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

During the programme, interns will be tasked with:

  • Providing support for projects and daily operations within their assigned business unit.
  • Applying academic knowledge to solve real-world business and technical challenges.
  • Conducting research, data analysis, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Actively participating in workshops, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives and proposing new business ideas.
  • Engaging in regular mentorship sessions, feedback reviews, and progress assessments.

Required Competencies

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of core concepts and current trends within your field of study.
  • Competence in using productivity tools like Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic exposure to digital platforms, data analysis tools, or discipline-specific software.
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving abilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have completed a minimum of a 3-year degree (NQF Level 7) at a SAQA-recognised tertiary institution in South Africa.
  • Must have graduated within the last two years or be completing studies by December 2025.
  • Must have achieved an academic average of 60% or above.
  • No prior full-time work experience in the field of study is required.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are advantageous.
