About the role
The TeleSales Agent works full‑time at our Rosebank office. You will reach out to potential and current customers via phone, email, and online platforms. Your goal is to present Cartrack’s products and services, discover customer needs, provide support, and follow up on leads. This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy talking with customers and can meet sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Contact potential and existing customers through phone, email, and online channels.
- Introduce Cartrack products and services, explaining how they meet customer needs.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities, gathering information to close deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Track all customer interactions in the CRM and keep records up to date.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to deliver the best customer experience.
What we’re looking for
• Prior experience as a tele‑sales agent – at least 2 years in an outbound call centre environment.
• Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Excellent negotiation and listening skills.
• High customer‑service orientation and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to manage several tasks and priorities independently.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
• Proficiency with computers, CRM systems, and online platforms.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in business or related field is a plus.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 2 years outbound sales experience in a call centre.
- Experience selling to key decision makers (B2C).
- Completed Grade 12.
- Fluent in English.
- Professional telephone communication skills.
