Purpose Of The Talent Pool

Toyota South Africa Motors is creating a talent pool to proactively identify and recruit skilled individuals for future team member opportunities at our world‑class manufacturing plant.

About The Team Member Position

We welcome passionate and hardworking people to register their profile for potential roles such as:

  • General – Assembly, Logistics, Weld, Forklift Drivers, Spray Painters, etc.
  • CO2 Welders (Welding Certificate Mandatory)
  • Code 8, 10 & 14 drivers (minimum 2 years of driving experience)

Key Performance Areas

  • Productivity: Meet daily targets and cycle times.
  • Quality: Adhere to quality guidelines and report defects immediately.
  • Time & Attendance: Arrive on time, use time‑keeping systems and complete duties within agreed timeframes.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all safety protocols, use PPE and support 4S standards.

Who Can Apply

  • South African citizens.
  • Completed NQF Level 4 and/or NQF Level 3 qualification. Additional qualifications are a plus.
  • Relevant certificates for technical roles (e.g., CO2 welding).
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or logistics is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Completed Toyota Learnership (advantageous).
