Position Overview
Support educators in delivering quality education to Foundation Phase learners at a leading school in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and resource management
- Provide individual support to learners with special needs
- Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities
- Assist with marking and administrative tasks
- Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
Requirements
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification
- 2+ years classroom experience
- Patience and passion for child development
- First Aid certification (advantageous)
- Clear criminal record
