About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Stores & Logistics Controller to manage our supply chain operations, ensure accurate stock control, and lead our store staff. This role requires hands‑on experience with ERP systems and a strong understanding of the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide store staff, clarifying roles and responsibilities.
- Plan and manage storage areas in line with project timelines and material needs.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, implementing minimum/maximum controls.
- Ensure proper handling, preservation, and storage of all materials.
- Track and report material movements between Isando, suppliers, and mine stores.
- Resolve discrepancies and delivery issues; manage GR/IR processes.
- Conduct audits and stock counts, driving continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate with procurement and materials management for timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records and submit daily reports.
Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Computer literacy – MS Office.
- Valid driver’s licence, Code 10.
- Must pass a Dover test at facility.
- Must be medically fit.
- South African nationality, residing within Blouberg or Musina municipality.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Stores/Materials/Logistics management.
- Knowledge of the contract mining industry.
- Previous experience with ERP systems – SAP or Sage 300; specifically Sage Materials Management.
- Supervisory training and experience in stores is an advantage.
- Excellent teamwork and accept diversity of all genders, cultures, and views.
- Availability for weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts as required.
