Job Summary
As a Storeman at Clover Logistics Warehouse, you will be the front line of our inventory control system. Your main responsibilities will involve receiving, storing, and issuing stock accurately and efficiently. You will support production operations by ensuring proper stock rotation, maintaining high safety and hygiene standards, and collaborating with the Stock Controller and other team members to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store and issue stock in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure all stock movements are physically correct and recorded.
- Assist with stock counts, container counts and return authorisations to suppliers.
- Prepare requisitions for consumable items when stock levels fall below thresholds.
- Maintain GMP compliance in your area and within the warehouse.
- Submit paperwork for stock orders to the capturing clerk after receiving goods.
- Safeguard stock security, housekeeping and safety standards.
- Control stock rotation and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF 4). A tertiary qualification in logistics or supply chain is advantageous.
- Diagnostic competency assessment to be completed.
- Practical experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
