About the Job
Spitz is a luxury fashion retailer known for high‑end brands such as Carvela, Lacoste, and Nicholas Roche. We are looking for a Flexi Store Assistant to join our team in Polokwane. This position involves assisting customers, managing stock, and handling cash – all while upholding our brand’s standards of quality and service.
Your Responsibilities
- Cash Control & Accuracy: Manage the cash desk quickly and accurately, ensuring zero variances. Follow daily cash control and banking procedures. Handle any manual transactions accurately if required.
- Stock Management & Organisation: Perform daily stock checks and maintain seamless store operations. Assist with customer orders and ensure they are fulfilled on time. Conduct weekly stock counts and keep the storeroom neat. Complete shoe pairing exercises to maintain stock integrity.
- Customer Service & Sales Support: Deliver a premium shopping experience by offering expert product knowledge and personalised service. Build strong customer relationships. Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
What You Need
- Matric/Grade 12 (essential)
- 6 months–1 year of retail experience (luxury or fashion retail preferred)
- A passion for high‑end fashion and excellent customer engagement
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak trading hours
- Strong numerical skills and accuracy in transaction handling
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
- Detail‑oriented, team‑player mindset
- Natural ability to build relationships and engage customers
