Clicks Group is looking for a dedicated Shop Assistant/Cashier to join the team at the Giyani Regional Mall. This role is central to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient point-of-sale operations. The ideal candidate will be a brand ambassador, contributing to a positive shopping experience that makes customers feel good.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all point-of-sale (POS) operational activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Scan merchandise and process payments with a high level of accuracy, including handling ClubCard rewards.
- Safely manage cash handling procedures at all times.
- Proactively promote the Clicks ClubCard by enrolling new members to meet participation targets.
- Inform customers about ongoing promotions to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience.
- Provide friendly, professional, and visible customer service, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Perform merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store standards.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, ranges, promotions, and store events to offer customers correct information.
- Support the company’s vision to be the leading health and beauty retailer by embodying its core values.
Requirements
Knowledge:
- Basic mathematical calculations.
- Understanding of retail/FMCG environments, including merchandising and promotional principles.

Education:
Essential: Grade 12 qualification.
