Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic HVAC Assistant to join our team. This role supports technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems. You will work in a safe, efficient, and compliant environment while learning on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Prepare and set up work sites, making sure tools, materials, and safety gear are ready.
• Help troubleshoot minor issues under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with the HVAC team and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferred: minimum 2 years of experience in an HVAC environment.
• Grade 12 / Matric completed (mandatory).
• Valid driver’s licence – an advantage but not required.
• Certificates in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (N1–N4) – highly regarded.

Skills & Personal Traits

• Basic mechanical knowledge – understanding of tools, machines, and HVAC components.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to help.
