Job Overview
Servest SA is a leading Integrated Facilities Management company that values innovation and top talent. We are looking for a skilled Handyman to join our team at St. John’s College. The role reports directly to the Facilities Manager and plays a key part in maintaining the quality and safety of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Paint and surface preparation – use a variety of painting methods as needed.
- General carpentry and steel work – assemble, repair, or replace components.
- Replace broken tiles in accordance with TAL specifications.
- Handle basic electrical tasks, including safe wiring, plugs, and light fitting installation.
- Perform basic plumbing duties whenever required.
- Repair and replace door locks and related fittings.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Carry out any additional related duties that support facilities maintenance.
- Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 (minimum).
- Technical tertiary qualification is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities or general maintenance.
- Practical training in basic handyman services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of a maintenance environment.
- Previous responsibility on comparable facilities management contracts.
- Proven understanding of contract terms and conditions.
