Purpose of the Job
Ensure timely, accurate and safe delivery of fuels to customers across the Sasol retail and commercial network.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the on‑time and accurate execution of all fuel deliveries.
- Deliver reliably (on time and full) using your own fleet.
- Accurately complete loading instructions (Fuel FACS and Renaissance).
- Conduct pre‑trip inspections and report defects.
- Maintain communication with the Logistics Command Centre for any deviations.
- Submit accurate shipment records and report gains or losses.
- Follow delivery sequence and minimize unproductive time.
- Identify and report potential operational risks, including OHS ACT requirements.
- Report, log and participate in root cause analysis for incidents.
- Prevent spills and contamination during deliveries.
- Comply with site, operational and SHERQ procedures.
- Follow all policies and procedures to complete tasks safely and accurately.
Formal Education
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
Licences & Certifications
- CODE EC (Code 14) Driver’s Licence
- Valid Professional Driver Permit (PrDP)
- Dangerous Goods with Hazchem Certificate
Work Experience
- 2 to 5 years of driving experience within the petroleum industry.
