About the Role
This is an administrative support position reporting directly to the Operations Manager for the Gauteng North region. The Sales Support Assistant (SSA) will provide essential sales and administrative assistance to Sanlam intermediaries and regional sales management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales and administration support to intermediaries, including drafting quotations.
- Assist intermediaries with product information and answer inquiries.
- Process and monitor new business submissions.
- Track, collect, and report sales data to intermediaries and management.
- Support initiatives that increase adoption of technology by intermediaries.
- Offer limited after‑sales service to clients.
Qualification & Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience in the financial services sector.
- Prior work in a broker or advisor services environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance products and quotation processes is desirable.
