Role Overview

The Sales Support Assistant (SSA) provides essential administrative and sales support to intermediate professionals and regional sales management. You will report directly to the Operations Manager in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely quotations to intermediaries.
  • Assist intermediaries with product knowledge and relevant information.
  • Process and monitor new business submissions.
  • Track, compile, and report sales data to intermediaries and management.
  • Support initiatives to increase technology adoption among intermediaries.
  • Offer limited after‑sales service support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification is an advantage.
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
  • Experience working within a Broker or Advisor Services environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and quotation processes and systems is preferred.
