About the Position
Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader that improves mobility and quality of life for patients worldwide. We are looking for a Receptionist / Admin Assistant to manage the front desk at our South Africa headquarters (remote). This person will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, and will support the talent team with a variety of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet visitors, directing them to the appropriate person or area.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming telephone calls.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy, professional reception area and ensure stock of stationery and brochures.
- Control access to the office, monitor logbooks, issue visitor badges/tags and follow security procedures.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company SOPs.
What Makes You Stand Out
- High school (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a receptionist or admin role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands‑on experience with office equipment.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organisational, multitasking and time‑management skills.
