About the Role
RCL FOODS is looking for an experienced Admin Clerk to join our Accounts Payable team. This role focuses on managing creditor records and ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Match invoices with SAP receipts in the GR/IR account.
- Ensure invoices comply with VAT legislation.
- Capture and enter invoices into the SAP system.
- Reconcile supplier quantities and prices, assign them to the correct contract, and set payment terms.
- Investigate discrepancies between supplier statements, invoices, and group receipts or purchase orders.
- Collect supplier invoices and statements.
- Distribute remittance advices after payment runs.
- Batch and file payment documentation.
- Review and resolve queries flagged by the RPA BOT on invoicing issues.
- Maintain accurate data in the information system for reliable reporting.
- Create ad‑hoc spreadsheets as required.
- File and safeguard records within your area of responsibility.
- Take ownership of tasks, prioritize, and manage your own development.
- Communicate clearly with suppliers, team members, and management.
- Support and promote the company’s core values.
- Help colleagues and go the extra mile to meet team targets.
- Lead training and development opportunities where possible.
- Participate in performance appraisals and set clear goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Matric certificate with studies in Mathematics and Accountancy.
- At least 1 year of experience in creditors administration or similar financial support role.
- Proficiency in SAP (preferred).
