A prestigious accounting firm in Gqeberha is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their auditing department as a Quality Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team and contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile IRBA fee lists from GreatSoft reports and other registers.
- Assist with IRBA fee reconciliation.
- Support the Quality Consultant with the Rotation schedule.
- Update and maintain various registers, including Typist, Caseware locking, Attorneys, Claims, and AUP & Valuations registers.
- Ensure all quality-related registers are current and accurate.
- Provide ad hoc assistance to the Quality Consultant and Quality Manager.
- Release documents for reception as required.
- Comply with the firm’s System of Quality Management (SOQM), policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to the firm’s Employee Code of Conduct, including SAICA, IRBA, and IESBA Codes of Conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- General administrative experience.
- Previous experience in an audit firm is advantageous.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Quality Management is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with GreatSoft is beneficial.
