A well-established company on the East Rand is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team.

Proven management experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations (3+ years preferred), with specific experience in the welding or gas consumable industry.
Strong understanding of international trade, logistics, and supplier management.
Proficiency in ERP systems and master data management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.

Managing and maintaining supplier agreements to ensure optimal terms and compliance.
Overseeing local and international supplier pricing to ensure cost-efficiency and competitiveness.
Maintaining and updating Material and Supplier Master Data (Local & International).
Sourcing products and materials globally, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
Processing and managing purchases across local and international suppliers.
Handling international supplier invoices and coordinating timely, accurate payments.
Managing local stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory and availability for production/sales.
Creating and maintaining product records in collaboration with relevant departments.
Reviewing and signing off test certificates to ensure compliance with product standards.
Approving shipment costings in line with budget and cost control policies.
Preparing and delivering month-end reports, providing insights into procurement performance.
