Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape (On‑site with occasional regional travel)
Salary: R18,000 – R24,000 per month (based on experience)

Position Summary:
Focused on the pre‑owned vehicle division, you’ll handle account‑receivable processes for retail and fleet sales, as well as accounts‑payable for auction acquisitions and refurbishment costs.
Primary Responsibilities:

Debtors Cycle:
-
Generate customer invoices for retail and fleet clients; track settlement.

Monitor instalment plans, manage arrears alerts, and engage in proactive collections.

Creditors Cycle:
-
Process acquisition costs from vehicle auctions, transporters, and detailers.

Validate service‑center invoices and approve payments per departmental controls.
-

Monthly Reconciliations:
-
Reconcile auction houses and refurbishment suppliers.
-
Prepare journals for adjustments (trade‑in credits, warranty recoveries).
-

Compliance & Audit:
-
Ensure all transactions meet SARS VAT requirements.
-
Maintain audit‑ready files for internal and external reviews.

Experience & Education:
-
Grade 12 plus Accounting/Bookkeeping qualification.
-
2+ years in a combined AR/AP role; automotive or logistics sector a plus.
-
Familiarity with auto‑auction systems (e.g., BCA, AULRO).
Key Competencies:

Excellent time management to juggle dual ledgers.

Confident communicator with both corporate and retail clients.

Problem‑solver with strong investigative skills.
