Job Description
We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a final-year Food Technology student to gain practical, hands-on experience in our Quality Control and Assurance department. This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the quality management processes within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) bakery environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
Throughout this internship, you will be actively involved in and learn from the following key areas:
- Ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet our strict standards.
- Gaining practical work exposure in quality management systems and principles.
- Participating in and supporting both internal and external site audits.
- Providing technical support and assisting with troubleshooting in the production process.
- Implementing and monitoring food safety and quality control procedures.
- Contributing to and supporting our company’s food safety culture initiatives.
You will receive a combination of formal and informal guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals throughout the entire duration of the program to ensure a valuable learning experience.

Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
- Currently studying towards a National Diploma in Food Technology and in your final year of study.
Experience Requirements:
While no prior professional experience is required, the successful intern will be expected to:
- Accurately record and maintain a logbook of all workplace exposure and learnings.
- Develop a good knowledge of the relevant department/area within the milling supply chain.
- Be able to perform the key tasks required in the QC/QA department as stipulated.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the QC/QA Manager.
Key Outputs:
- Successfully complete one year of workplace exposure in Quality Assurance and Control.
Work Environment & Conditions:
This is a factory-based position. Please note that the role requires flexibility, and you will be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays as per the operational shift roster.
