Job Description

Premier FMCG is offering an exciting 3-year Apprenticeship Programme for a motivated individual eager to build a career as a Millwright. This is a structured programme designed to provide comprehensive theoretical knowledge and extensive hands-on practical experience.

What You Will Be Doing

The programme is a blend of theoretical learning at an accredited centre and practical, on-the-job training. You will be required to work a 6-day week and overtime as needed, including weekends and public holidays, to gain a full understanding of the trade. Under the guidance and mentorship of a qualified Artisan, you will learn to convert theoretical concepts into practical application, developing the essential skills needed to excel as a Millwright.

Key Outputs and Responsibilities

• Successfully complete all theoretical training modules at the pass rate specified by management.
• Apply learned skills practically in a high-performance, pressurized manufacturing environment.
• Work effectively within a team to contribute to operational goals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• An N2 Certificate with four (4) subjects relevant to the Millwright trade:
• Engineering Mathematics
• Engineering Science
• Mechanical Subject
• Mechanical and Electrical Drawings
• Note: An Electrical subject is highly advantageous.

Advantageous Qualifications:

• An N3 qualification in a relevant field.

Experience Requirements

• No formal experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity for school leavers.
• Any relevant work experience will be considered a distinct advantage.
