Job Description

Motus Autoworx, a leader in the vehicle repair industry, is looking for an honest, trustworthy and highly responsible Polisher for our East London branch. The primary role is to polish vehicles after painting to ensure a high‑quality finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Check that the paint is completely dry before polishing.
• Polish the vehicle evenly, avoiding any scratches or paint wear.
• Remove dust from vehicles before they go to the wash bay.
• Remove any excess polish before handing the vehicle back to assembly.
• Report overspray, paint mismatch or any other problems to the Spray Painter or Production Manager.
• Safeguard all equipment at all times.
• Book handheld equipment back to the store at the end of the day.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years in polishing.

Qualification: Grade 12.

Other:

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old).
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
