Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Parts Salesman to join our team at the Hyundai Harbor View location. The role involves selling automotive parts and accessories to customers, providing excellent service, and managing sales transactions accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and help them find the right parts and accessories for their vehicles.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using our point‑of‑sale system.
- Provide detailed information about product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized parts store and keep shelves stocked.
- Assist with receiving and restocking incoming parts shipments.
- Work closely with the Parts Manager to meet sales targets and customer‑service goals.
- Stay up‑to‑date on new product releases and promotions.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Follow company policies regarding sales, returns, and exchanges.
Required Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer‑service skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items when necessary.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is a plus.
- Valid driver’s licence.
