Job Summary

We’re looking for an Operations Assistant to support our manufacturing and production processes. You will help keep operations running smoothly and maintain strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive the daily packing sheet from the supervisor.
  • Work with the forklift operator to pick up the required containers.
  • Inspect containers for cleanliness before use.
  • Check the condition of pallets before handling.
  • Report any deviations or issues in the work environment.
  • Fill containers to their required volumes.
  • Label containers correctly before filling and before they leave your area.
  • Follow correct procedures for filling flow bins, avoiding static.
  • Report any damaged equipment, spillage, or incidents immediately.
  • Conduct daily dip checks for quality control.
  • Offload product into designated bulk storage tankers.
  • Complete all required documentation for each task.
  • Reach daily production targets.
  • Follow any other reasonable instructions issued by management.
  • Maintain clean and safe housekeeping in your work area.

Must‑Haves

  • Grade 12/Matric.
  • Attention to detail.
  • 4–6 months of relevant experience in the chemical industry.
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of the job.
  • Forklift licence (a plus).
