About the Role

We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and dedicated Seasonal General Workers to join our bustling warehouse team on a 3-month contract. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into a variety of tasks to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently during our peak season.

You will be a crucial part of the team that powers South Africa’s favorite daily deals site, contributing directly to getting products to our customers quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of warehouse tasks as directed by managers and supervisors.
• Assist with picking, packing, receiving, and sorting customer orders with care and precision.
• Help with loading and unloading goods from vehicles and moving materials within the workplace using appropriate equipment.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Assist in counting, sorting, and organizing inventory, helping to maintain accurate stock records.
• Inspect products and materials for any defects or damage and report any issues promptly.
• Follow all company safety protocols and guidelines meticulously to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Be a proactive and supportive team player, willing to assist in various duties as needed.

Experience and Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• Good communication skills and a strong team player attitude.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or similar fast-paced environment is a strong advantage.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
• Must be flexible and available to work the required hours for the duration of the 3-month contract.
