Job Purpose
The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day office operations—handling financial paperwork, managing equipment, maintaining supplies, and providing secretarial assistance. Additional tasks may include petty cash handling, banking, travel arrangements, and general site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow company and client policies and instructions.
- Accurately complete, file, and manage financial documents.
- Deliver excellent client service through clear communication.
- Operate and maintain office equipment (fax, photocopier, shredder).
- Manage office maintenance tasks including repairs, supplies, and cleaning.
- Provide secretarial support: typing, filing, photocopying, data entry.
- Process timesheets, handle petty cash, and perform banking reconciliations.
- Arrange travel and bookings for site personnel as required.
- Follow occupational health and safety procedures, report hazards, and use PPE.
- Participate in safety meetings, report incidents promptly, and obey emergency procedures.
Requirements
Education: Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
License: Valid South African light vehicle driver’s licence (Code 08).
Experience: 0–1 year in an office environment.
