Job description
The Finance Administrator will support the finance team with a broad range of administrative and operational tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all processes.
Key responsibilities
- Control and reconcile fleet cards, capturing monthly activity.
- Manage motor vehicle administration, including licence renewals and fuel documentation.
- Handle company cell‑phone contracts, perform monthly reconciliations and usage analysis.
- Administer company credit cards and maintain accurate records.
- Update insurance policies to include new assets.
- Process cashbook entries and conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
- Capture supplier invoices that are not related to stock.
- Send customer statements and follow up on overdue accounts receivable.
- Reconcile creditors on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and review vendor applications, ensuring compliance with credit vetting and financial procedures.
- Assist with stock‑take activities in June and December.
- Provide support to other departments as required.
- Review and approve Concur travel claims, issue cash advances when authorised.
- Assist with foreign payments to the group.
- Administer ad‑hoc projects and support the Finance Lead with daily operations.
