Position Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to achieve sales targets and actively promote the trusted Auto Pedigree brand to customers.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
- Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of customer service and sales experience with a proven sales track record. Relevant industry experience is a strong advantage.
- A valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license and your own reliable transport are essential.
- You must be computer literate.
- Some understanding of the compliance regulations governing the retail industry is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the most spoken languages in the Pretoria area is an advantage.
- An existing understanding of Auto Pedigree’s products and services is desirable.
Please note: The successful appointee will be required to work weekends and shifts.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities to meet targets.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our vehicles, including their characteristics, capabilities, and features.
- Focus on business development to reach and exceed set monthly sales targets.
- Drive specific strategies designed to retain existing customers and grow the current customer base.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of showroom displays and vehicle presentations.
- Accompany customers on test drives, ensuring all necessary licenses and documentation are collected beforehand as per company best practices.
- Effectively manage customer expectations to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Use your own initiative and skills to create new opportunities and venture into new revenue streams.
- Take total commitment and responsibility for achieving your sales targets and contributing to business growth.
- Manage any customer escalations efficiently and provide timely feedback.
- Negotiate agreement terms and confidently close sales.
