About the Role
You will be responsible for managing the parts sales counter, ensuring customer satisfaction and growing the customer base. The role involves selling parts and accessories, achieving sales targets, and supporting the dealership’s overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve parts sales budget through effective marketing.
- Maintain and grow market share within the area of responsibility.
- Retain existing customers by delivering excellent service.
- Adhere to the company’s discount policy.
- Identify and communicate market opportunities to management and other departments.
- Handle customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Introduce customers to new policies and promotions.
- Maintain regular, helpful contact with customers and dealership staff.
- Document and record returned parts accurately.
- Keep company assets in good condition.
- Collaborate with staff to promote dealership interests.
- Communicate regularly with the Parts Manager.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Report and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time.
- Operate part exchange, replacement, and reconditioned schemes in line with company policy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Parts counter sales experience required.
- Clear credit record.
- Experience selling Toyota panel parts is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong customer service orientation.
