About the Role
As a key part of our Youth Development Strategy, Momentum has created several initiatives aimed at driving positive social impact and directly tackling youth unemployment. In partnership with the Youth Employment Services (YES) programme, we are offering multiple 12-month learnership opportunities within Momentum Investments. This programme is designed to provide valuable workplace experience and professional development for unemployed youth. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the learnership.
Requirements
To be considered for this learnership opportunity in the Learning & Development field, candidates should possess one or more of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Learning Sciences.
- Certificate or Diploma in Adult Education or Facilitation.
- Train-the-Trainer certification.
- Courses in Educational Psychology or Curriculum Development.
- Qualifications in Instructional Design or eLearning Development.
- Multimedia Design or Digital Media qualification, especially with a focus on learning.
- Learning Experience Design (LXD) or UX for Learning certification.
- Game Design or Game Development qualification (relevant for interactive learning elements).
Duties & Responsibilities
During the 12-month programme, successful candidates will:
- Gain hands-on exposure and experience within the Momentum Investments Learning and Development team.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and apply feedback to improve performance.
- Uphold the values of Momentum Investments and represent the organisation in a professional manner at all times.
- Actively engage in opportunities to develop essential personal and professional skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
