A vacancy exists for a Mechanical Design Engineer at our client’s head office in Paarl. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced mechanical design engineer to join their team.
Key Requirements
- BTech or National Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical machine design or draughting
- Extensive experience with 3D CAD packages such as Creo or Pro-Engineer
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality, and detailed drawings
- Skilled in creating complete manufacturing drawings, including detailing, assemblies, and BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Strong mechanical insights
- Competent in performing engineering calculations
- Previous engineering knowledge of the food and beverage industry would be an advantage
