About the Role
We are looking for entry‑level masons to join our team in Mokopane. This is a fixed‑term position that will give you hands‑on experience in masonry, tiling, and basic carpentry tasks within a high‑performance environment. You will help maintain a safe and clean working area each shift, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and project plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply safety and health principles in all work activities to protect yourself and others.
- Use personal protective equipment correctly and ensure compliance by colleagues.
- Carry out masonry tasks such as laying bricks, setting stones, and finishing mortar joints.
- Cut and shape bricks and stones accurately to fit project plans.
- Follow standard procedures and work schedules to meet operational targets.
- Keep the work area safe and tidy throughout the shift.
- Support the Engineering Foreman and team to achieve operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 completion.
- Mason Certificate or equivalent is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of mortar and building materials (bricks, stone, concrete).
- Proficiency in basic masonry techniques: laying, pointing, and jointing.
- Ability to read and follow detailed plans.
