About the Opportunity
Are you a recent Matriculant looking to kickstart your career with the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser? Marsh McLennan is offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable workplace exposure and a formal qualification.
This 12-month Learnership Programme is designed to provide young individuals with a combination of theoretical study and practical on-the-job training, creating a strong foundation for a long-term career in the insurance industry.
Programme Details
- Locations Available: Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Sandton, Stellenbosch
- Duration: 12 months (Fixed Term Contract)
- Start Date: 1st February 2026
- Application Deadline: 26th September 2025

Qualifying Criteria
To be eligible for this learnership, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a Matric/Grade 12 certificate with:
- English as a first or second language.
- Maths or Maths Literacy.
- You MUST be in possession of your matric certificate and/or statement of results as proof that you passed matric in 2024 or prior.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years.
- Be available to start the programme on 1st February 2026.
- Reside in or close to the area (Pretoria, Gauteng) in which the opportunity is available.
- Should not have previously participated in any SETA-funded initiative.
- Should not be participating in any post-Matric studies or be in formal employment.
Important Note: Learners will not be permitted to participate in any post-Matric studies or other initiatives whilst on the MMC Learnership programme.
