About the Role
The Mailroom Clerk will be responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing mail and parcels in a busy office environment. This role requires a person who is reliable, organized and able to manage several tasks simultaneously while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, sort and deliver mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.
• Prepare and stamp outgoing mail, log overnight shipments and coordinate with courier services.
• Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners and delivery printers.
• Keep the mailroom and archive areas tidy, and maintain accurate inventory records for supplies.
• Support archiving and recall processes with meticulous documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and keep the workspace clean.
• Take on ad‑hoc requests from business units and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications
• Matric / Grade 12; an admin certificate is an advantage.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar mailroom or logistics role.
• Strong time‑management, communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and keep confidential information secure.
