Key Purpose of the Role

This learnership provides structured learning combined with practical experience to qualify for the FETC Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in the Discovery Health Call Centre, supporting medical aid clients, handling claims, new business and health benefits administration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 (mandatory).
  • Mathematics – Level 4 (50% or better).
  • English – Level 4 (50% or better).
  • Mathematics Literacy – Level 5 (60% or better).
  • Second Language – Level 4 (50% or better).
  • Having an incomplete tertiary qualification provides an advantage.

Specific Requirements

  • Not currently enrolled in post‑matric studies or employed formally.
  • No previous learnership completed.
  • Age 18–25 years.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, mainly MS Excel and MS Outlook.
