Job Overview

As a Permanent Store Assistant you will be the face of Kurt Geiger in the Mall of the North store. Your main responsibilities will be to provide outstanding service to shoppers, keep the shop looking great and help the store run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Cash control: Operate the cash desk accurately, handle transactions and balance the register.
• Stock management: Keep the shelf and storeroom orderly, perform weekly stock counts, and pair shoes for display.
• Customer service: Offer product knowledge, give styling advice, and build a positive relationship with every customer.
• Support sales by highlighting new arrivals and promotions.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the store to reflect Kurt Geiger’s high standards.

What You Need to Succeed

• Matric / Grade 12 – essential.
• 6 months to 1 year of retail experience (ideally in luxury or fashion).
• A genuine interest in high‑end footwear and fashion.

Additional Skills & Attributes

• Strong numerical skills and accuracy with cash.
• Good time‑management; can meet deadlines in a busy shop.
• Detail‑oriented – keeps the shop looking polished.
• A team player who enjoys working with others.
• Friendly and approachable – natural at building customer rapport.
